  Solid sushi experience!   Fast and friendly.  Very delicious.  Oya is very reasonably priced.  Very small but cozy eating area.  The wasabi was very fresh and had a great flavor. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back. Their lunch specials and dinner specials are a great value. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly

  Went to lunch with a friend.  We both had the sushi lunch special.  I had a spicy tuna roll as well as a Mexican roll.  Both were just okay...nothing special.  I did like that you can pick your own side rather than soup or salad.  My friend had spicy tuna and Mexican.  He said the rice was soggy.  We don't be back.

  This sushi is the BEST! Super fresh, delicious, and the prices are great. I don't go anywhere else for sushi.

  There's better sushi to be had in this world, and probably better sushi to be had here in Pinellas County, but I can say with certainty there is not better sushi for the price.
  
  For $7 at lunch, you can get two rolls (or substitute some nigiri) plus a side like veggie tempura. For a mere $10 at dinner, you can get THREE rolls and/or nigiri plus a side plus miso soup. Most of the sushi is quite good, and they're generous with the options you can pick from. And with avocado. They have cooked options including some Korean entrees that seemed interesting, but I haven't branched out from sushi combos yet.
  
  It's not fancy, but it's fresh, tasty, the staff is friendly, and you can't beat their deals.

  Went here for lunch and got two sushi lunch specials and edamame. The edamame was well cooked and fresh. I got the karate roll (eel, tuna and avocado) and the Mexican roll. Both were six pieces each and it was enough to fill me up. We each got a side of meat tempura with our special.  I didn't care for the fish tempura but the chicken tempura was good.
  
  My boyfriend got the salmon tempura roll and chicken tempura roll. I tried both, I loved the chicken tempura roll but was not a fan of the salmon. The salmon seemed bland to me. He liked both the rolls but it didn't fill him up enough so we got him food afterwards too. Overall good sushi, the rice was super fresh.
  
  As for the decor, the place is super dated. The tables you could tell haven't been replaced in a while and are kind of sticky. The ceiling is an interesting sponged black and blue look and the light panels have what seemed like a black piece of paper in them to make the lighting darker. I wasn't impressed with the look of the place at all.
  
  The menu was blocked off in a good amount of places with little white pieces of paper so that probably needs to be updated as well. I wanted to get the spring rolls as my side but the lady told us they don't have them anymore.
